Why Are You Beating Yourself Up? STOP IT!

by Eric Goldstein

Do You Ever Stop And Pay Attention To The Way You Talk To Yourself?

Most people are totally unconscious to what they are saying to themselves. Everyone is running around looking for solutions outside of themselves to change the results of their lives… when it all starts with self love and appreciation.

This is a BIG message my friend. You get this one concept and you are on your way to creating some AMAZING things for yourself and the other people around you.

Here is a quick video of me giving you ways to implement self love and appreciation into your life. Watch it now:

0 Why Are You Beating Yourself Up? STOP IT!

So what did you think? Are you going to start appreciating yourself more? Will you COMMIT to the morning rituals? Leave me a comment at the bottom of this blog with the answers to those questions. I’d love to hear your feedback.

This is a message that EVERYONE should hear, so do your friends a favor and share this with them. You can send this to all of your Twitter followers by clicking the green ‘retweet’ button on this post.

I appreciate you and I’m looking forward to connecting with you very soon:)

Yours In Success,

Hey Eric,

Thank you so much for the beautiful message! We truly are the ONLY ones who hold ourselves back in life… And it\’s so important to spend time nurturing ourselves with love, self-acceptance, and definitely a morning ritual!! :) That\’s something I\’m definitely implementing very soon! Great video, Eric. We all need to remember that berating ourselves really only serves to keep us down. When we focus on our problems, we are giving the problem more strength and power over us. We are so much better off and happier when we focus on solutions instead.

Eric,
Awesome video! It is so true that we are very hard on ourselves and in reality, if we don\’t believe in ourselves, who will?

It is time we LOVE OURSELVES! A tip for anyone trying to create that \’5 minute ritual\’ is to write down 5 things every day you are grateful for… this daily practice has really changed my attitude from one of scarcity to one of abundance. Just wanted to throw that out there!

Keep the awesome posts coming!
Amanda

Hey Amanda,

Thanks for the feedback. Writing
down the things you are grateful
for is a great idea.

I sometimes would just write for
5-10 minutes and just scribble down
all the things i’m grateful for… good
stuff:)

In coaching, we call those “voices” “gremlins”, telling us what we can’t do. When teaching I put my 4 rules on the board: 1. Respect yourself 2. Respect others.

Too bad many have forgotten this. A tenet of TaeKwonDo: Courtesy-showing kindness, empathy, fairness, and politeness towards others. Indomitable Spirit-having a strong and unconquerable sense of self.

Eric,

This is such an important topic that most entrepreneurs overlooked since they are so focused on learning new techniques and never work on the fundamentals.

Jorge,

You are so right about this being
an overlooked topic by entrepreneurs.

Hey Eric,

I always love hearing what you have to say about personal growth. I hear what you\’re saying. This world would be such a happier place if we all could look into the deepest parts of us and just love us for who we are, and accept our uniqueness, our individuality. I\’ve gotten in a habit of saying out loud to people, things I appreciate, even them. \"I appreciate you, \"I appreciate that\", I appreciate the beauty\", etc. Thanks for great insight.

You must be psychic… I was appreciating myself and the creation of you in my life just this morning!! YOU are an incredible inspiration and I know that, as we are one, the more I appreciate you, I appreciate myself more and more as well. Thanks for the breadcrumbs :)
In appreciation for who I really am!!

Cheryl,

I’m happy to hear that you are
appreciating yourself more and more.

The more you do that… the more that
you presume to be ‘good’… comes your way!

Hi Eric, I totally dig this post and I want to thank you for putting this together. I thought about this question before…
Do you want to know the first step to becoming a MATURE human Being?
The first step is personal responsibility for your emotional environment.
Everything starts within. We awaken in others that which we awaken in ourselves first.. In order to give love, we must first have love for ourselves, in order to give happiness, we must feel happiness within ourselves first. We seldom could give that which we do not have within ourselves first. And remember
P.E.A.R (no, not the Fruit)
Praise, encouragement, appreciation, and recognition
And the most powerful FORCE L O V E !!~! It Starts with “I”
All Love & Blessings
