Very important message Eric! If I could pass on one wisdom from my 6 decades on this planet it would be: BE AUTHENTIC! If you enjoy who you are, others will too. Thanks for taking the time to do this video. I am a Gypsy Entrepreneur, barefoot and saturated with salty beach air;)

Keep shining your light and sharing that
beauty with the world:)
So true, Eric. It takes a lot more energy to attempt to emulate someone else. It\’s just so much easier to be comfortable in your own skin and let your love shine. Thanks for the great post!

Well said, my friend. It’s funny how many people don’t realize that is is actually HARDER to try to be someone else than to just let their own personality shine through. You are really great at what you do, Eric…Keep on inspiring!

You’re right on with that Theresa!
Keep shining and sharing…
Hi Eric, Great video! I find this hard to do when I make video\’s because I want to look like I have zeal. I think with a little more practice, I\’ll get there. Thank you for sharing.

Thanks Daryl… Just be YOU! The Universe has
info that it’s looking to share through you, and
only you. No worries on the ‘zeal’… just rock it:)
Good post Eric. It really is pretty simple when you think about it. I think it’s pretty transparent when someone tries to be someone else and isn’t authentic.
Keep up the great stuff!
Eric, We can’t be reminded often enough of this important part of life. We are bombarded with so much information and looking for something better–when often it is right in front of us, if we would only look within. Thanks for the great post.

Hey buddy! Well done post. You always deliver on Value… Yes, we are creating our own realities. I know that sounds ‘out there’ but if we think about it we have the choice to decide how we react to ever situation that comes along. It all boils down to making choices and taking action on what we really want. We do… what we want. No one has control over what we think or what we do.
Well, there’s my little rant right back at you! heehee
Be Blessed my friend,
Kary

Kary… You’re right on about us having
the choice on how we react to situations
and events.
Cheers:)
Eric what a powerful message. When we are authentic it breaks the barriers that we have made for ourselves and lets others connect with us. I really connected with you in this video, and it was a stellar message. I am looking forward to your future posts!

Hi Eric
What a great post – I’m with you all the way on that one
A quote came to mind immediately when I saw the title of your post (before I even read the post):
“Always be a first-rate version of yourself, instead of a second-rate version of somebody else” ~ Judy Garland ~
I love this quote so much , I tweeted it a few months ago, and I’ve noticed that this quote is being tweeted again today.
I look forward to reading through all your blog posts

Hey Eric,
We spoke about this in church today 10-10-10 be YOURSELF!!!!!!
Powerful words Eric. And this message reiterates what we talked about in that coaching call you with and Nick. Being who you are creates clarity and clarity creates movement forward.
I just wanted to say I watched your video and you really made me feel calm, happy! I see too many people trying to mimick or look like certain stars, instead of just being yourself, dressing the way you wanna be instead of trying to be something you’re not! I try to tell people to just be them self and I get hated on for it but then I realized they have to learn on there own that they can try to wear makeup or dress a certain way, but they will never actually be that person of a star, I wish people were more confident today instead of these plastic surgery places, who make tons and tons of money! Tired of it, I just saw a girl today who cut her hair, bleached her hair blonde and wears tons of black eye shadow to make her eyes pop to look like jessica alba but her nose is wide, she says people say I resemble her, and I said no you do not, even though it sounded harsh and mean I was honest and blunt about it to her, but this is what I’m saying just be yourself, stop trying to be something you’re not! And if people started hating jessica alba, then what would she do? She wouldn’t know what to do because she doesn’t even know herself!
