All You Need Is Just A Little Patience…

by Eric Goldstein on January 27, 2010

Just like the subject reads… CHILL OUT! People are in such a rush to build a business these days that they’re NOT totally missing doing the things it takes to make it happen!

A little story for you… I was hangin’ at my desk writing a marketing piece, and a song came on that made me think of just this. So what did I do? I turned on the handy dandy little video camera and caught some footage for ya.

When I heard the chorus of this song, it made me realize that people just are taking the time to do the little things that matter because they are in such a rush. It’s those little things that truly matter when building a business online… and their totally missing out on them!

Check out the video to hear the song:

Talk about transparency, right? I don’t have the best singing voice in the world… but guess what?! I don’t care… I think I do and that’s all that matters :)

So do you agree? Do you think it takes patience to build a business online? Leave your thoughts here in the community down below by leaving a comment. I’d love to hear from you!

Speak more soon…

Yours In Patience,
Eric Goldstein

P.S. Stop rushing around trying to build your business… chill out, enjoy the process and allow it all to unfold!

Thanks for the great post. You are so right, whenever I get \"overanxious\" about things not happening as fast as I would like, it always helps if I take some time and back away and \"calm down\" and it always seems like something good happens. This was a great reminder.

Eric Goldstein January 27, 2010 at 12:47 PM

Hey Lisa,

All the action in the world can’t buck the
current/vibration of that overanxiousness.

In those times it’s time to chill… clean up
the vibration and then get back at it.

Eric,

Great tip! Really is man. So applicable at this stage in my life. I mean, if all I focus on is needing success, clients, now now now! I totally see how that can, and will screw me haha. It will also rob me of the joy experienced on the journey. Right onnn dude!

Great reminder, Eric!. Love what you said about being in the right vibration. Things go SO much more smoothly when I’m not trying to “force” them. There’s also a great saying about getting somewhere too soon……sometimes there’s a reason certain things take longer to happen – and if we try to push to get there ahead of when we’re supposed to, there’s nothing for us when we arrive because our timing is “off”.
Thanks, Eric@! Great stuff, as usual!

So thanks for the video and thanks for the song.

When we are relaxed, we are going

we start rushing that we are pushing against
and that’s why we feel the discontent.

Hi Eric,
This is a great post. I was reading this post the Science of Getting Rich book came to my mind. In this book Mr Wattles mentions “Do all that you can do in a perfect manner every day, but do it without haste, worry, or fear. Go as fast as you can, but never hurry”.

Excellent reminder to chill out and take things easy.

Hey Eric, One of my favourite songs! There is so much hype and BS around promising overnight riches that people get discouraged when it doesn’t happen as promised. I think the important thing to go hand in hand with Patience is Focus. Choose a path carefully using quality advice and focus on it. Success cannot happen without these two ingredients.

Reply

Eric Goldstein May 3, 2010 at 1:00 PM

Right on Rowena!

When we are patient we are at
peace… when we are at peace we
are able to listen and hear the Universe
speaking to us, leading us towards our
desires.

Thanks!

Hey Staci,

My pleasure… everything in Universal
Time! The one thing that I like to remember
is, when I get everything done that is on my
‘list of things to do’ now… there will be many
others new things that show up to do.

We will never get it all done. There will always
be things we want to do. There will always be
unfulfilled desires… meaning we will always want
things that we don’t currently have… that’s what
desire is… and desire is life force!

You’re doing awesome:)
