Think about that for a moment… What does that really mean?? What is a lie?
Let’s start in another place… do you agree that everything in this universe is energy? You, me, your thoughts, your words, the computer your reading this on right now? Quantum physics has already proven this to be true.
So, a lie is energy as well. Our words have SO much more power than we realize. Most of us look at everything from a physical perspective… but what we don’t realize is, we are much more non-physical then we are physical.
Most people would say that we are physical beings having a non-physical experience… where I believe that we are non-physical beings having a physical experience.
So if you believe the same, then you have to start looking at things NOT just from your physical world. When we say something to ourselves or someone else… those thoughts or words are energy. They carry a vibration or a frequency.
Just like we learned in science in our good ‘ol school days… for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. This is Sir Issac Newton’s ‘Third Law of Motion’ to refresh your memory:)
So when we tell a lie… there is an opposite reaction. A reaction matching the same vibration or frequency of the lie you told. Hmmmmm… wondering why some of the stuff that is showing up in your life is ‘unwanted’?
We’re all conditioned to believe that some lies are acceptable. But, in reality, there are costs and consequences to our lives whenever we lie. We think the little ‘white’ lies are okay. For example, telling your co-worker to tell the person that is on the phone for you that you’re not in the office… when you are.
White, red, blue or purple… it doesn’t matter what color the lie is. A lie is a lie… and they all have consequences! Some of the consequences are stress, low self-esteem and even disease. We think what we are doing is harmless… but what we are really doing is harming OURSELVES!
As the old saying goes… ‘The Truth Shall Set You Free’. It’s true… when you are living in a place of integrity you really are free. You are allowing your true connection to Source, God, Higher Power… whatever you want to call it… to flow.
Also, as you tell these little white lies, you’re losing trust and faith in yourself. You are literally diminishing your personal power. You might not realize this, but because of this lack of truth, you are second guessing yourself in other areas of your life.
Imagine for a moment that you had a friend who would always lie to you… little ‘white’ ones. They tell you there going to pick you up at 2:30pm, and they show up at 3:30pm.
They tell you they are coming by on Sunday for dinner, and they don’t show. Very soon you are going to lose trust in this person. Whenever they say something in the future, you are going to have a very hard time believing it.
Guess what my friend?? This works exactly the same way with yourself. When you tell yourself your going to do something, and you don’t keep your word… you’re losing trust in yourself. Before you know it your second guessing everything you do… and there my friend is where you lose so much of your power.

I’m truly mystified about how life goes. I agree with you that there is no difference weather how big or small, or what the color of the lie was. A lie is a lie, and there is nothing that can justify it even if the intention is good. Well, I’m aware with this thing called “Karma” and also with the phrase “Don’t do unto others what you don’t want others do unto you”. I think those are just two supporting details of what Newton’s ‘Third Law of Motion implies in real life. There are reason of our daily experiences and struggles, and I think we should always look back of our taken actions before blaming others.
