Hey hey hey… Just a quick post today on a cool product to help you keep yourself organized. I don’t know about you, I’m always using spreadsheets and documents to run my business.

The Google guys are brilliant! They’ve created Google Docs which allow you to set up spreadsheets and documents on their servers, under your account, and access them from any internet connection… pretty cool, huh?

Thanks Eric. Learning spreadsheets back in the day with Lotus 123 has come a long way. It launched my career when I started to automate my daily work by programming macros. I was doing the work of 5 in my department. I learned simply by reading HELP. I graduated to Microsoft Excel and from there dozens of other languages and tools. I was learning things before they even had courses on them and of course before colleges were even teaching them. The dirty little secret about coding and languages is the same as it is for most country and western songs. There is a pattern and you just have to change around the progression and substitute your own words. Most code has already been written. You just have to find it and assemble it. And you can never stop learning. I’ve picked up 3 languages i the last year.

Thanks Eric.

Very useful. I like it. I wonder, about safety/security of those document informations in the google.docs. Did you worry about that?
