Let Your Facebook Friends Know Your Talking About Them…

by Eric Goldstein on October 13, 2009

Facebook has FINALLY caught up with Twitter… you can now tag your friends in your status to let them know your talking about them.

Why Is This So POWERFUL?

If you want to share one of their blog posts, videos or articles Facebook will send them a message letting them know that they have been tagged in a post by you.

This is a super useful feature when you are looking to connect with some of the ‘Movers and Shakers’ out there. Share their content on your Facebook profile and they will now be notified now. This is one of those tools that makes social media the VIRAL tool that it is.

I’ve created a quick training video to show you how to do this. Watch it now:

YouTube Preview Image

Now it’s time to get out there and take action on this! Start right now by taking the link to this blog post and sharing it on your Facebook profile with your friends… remember to tag me! :)

So do you see the VALUE in this feature? Leave a comment at the bottom of this post with one of the ways that you are going to use this feature. By doing this, you are helping everyone in the community here to GROW… and that’s what it is ALL about!

I thank you for taking your time to stop by my blog today… I appreciate YOU very much!

Yours In Knowledge,
Eric Goldstein

Eric,

Success does not happen over night. They say it’s built brick by brick. The idea of tagging people gives the ever loving social proof for building up others as well as yourself.

This proves that building an online presence and making a living by using social media is here to stay! Thanks for sharing such a valuable tip.

Every time I look at one of your videos, Eric, I wish it were about twice the size. I went back for a replay, but I still wasn’t sure what you wrote. I tried it by taking a guess. I didn’t get it. Even my magnifying glass doesn’t give me a clear focus on what you are demonstrating. I am wearing my usual corrective lenses.

What hope do I have of catching on to those of you in the Unified Tribe whose tube videos are this unfocused?
