Creating abundance in your life and social media… sound like something you want to know how to do?
If you’re reading this post then I’ll assume the answer is ‘yes’. Most people are bumping around in life unhappy and wondering why. At a deep level of their being they know they are supposed to be happy, but they just can’t figure out why they are not.
Creating abundance in this life experience is much easier then it seems… most of us are just in our own way and we are blocking all we’ve been asking for. I see a lot of people who start using social media and blogging to build their business doing this all the time. They get themselves to place where they are frustrated with it because they are not getting the results they want.
When you are in that place of alignment with what you’ve been asking for, you feel good. I covered a lot of this in my two part series ‘Are People Running Away From You On The Social Networks?’. When you are following the principles within that blog series, you get yourself into that good feeling place, better known as The Vortex.
You will know when you are in this place… everything just seems to flow. The more you are able to put yourself in the vortex, the better you will get at creating abundance in your life. You will also start seeing success in building your business online through social media and blogging when you are in this place.
In this video I go deeper into this concept:

So do you know what The Vortex is now? It’s an amazing place to hang out… and creating abundance happens easily from this place.
I’d love to hear your feeedback… Do you find yourself in The Vortex often? Is there a specific area of building your business online that seems to knock you out of this place? Leave a comment below with your answers to these questions as I’d love to see how I can help you make a shift within this area.

ERIC…..
You hit the nail on the head. I totally agree with you about people always looking for a distraction to not find THEMSELVES. I wish more people would see the joy of spending time alone. Loving this stuff you\’re putting out. Keep on rockin – Ryan
Thanks Ryan!
The time I spend alone in my life is
what makes me who I am when I hang
with other people.
Keep rockin’ it Ryan:)
Hey Eric,
Present moment consciousness and contentment are essential to one\’s happiness. It\’s always good to bring yourself back to the present if you feel you\’re out of the zone or \"the vortex\" if you will.
Peace can only exist in the here and now and is not some future event that will come later when we have all the things we are working so hard to attain. In fact, any peace associated with \"things\" is temporary anyway.
We must not forget that abundance includes material wealth, but also health and peace of mind. \"Be Here Now\".
~Fredric
Fredric,
You said it perfectly… Peace can only exist
in the present moment. There is so much
power in the NOW!
Thanks for poppin’ in today:)
Eric,
I really appreciate this blogpost. I haven’t read much about “The Vortex” and it’s amazing how you outlined it here perfectly in your blog. I thank you!
I love when you said “Be in Present Moment” and aceept everything in your life. We have to be reminded “Let planning be your springboard so that spontaneity can be your splash” Stop Living with Busyness mentality. When you become truly present You are free of time.
Deepak Chopra also calls this “Law of Least Effort” in his book called “The 7 Spiritual Laws of Success”
Thanks for bringing Light to this!!! Your so Incredible!!!
Ps. I love the vids outdoors =)

My pleasure Therese!
I’m learning more and more that there
is so much power in the present. It really
is a gift… a ‘present’.
Thank you:)
The Vortex is an awesome book! Bought it a few month ago!
Everyone should read it!
It is all about relationships. With friends, family, work, money and with your inner being. Actually anything in your life is about relationships if you break it down.
Living in the present moment and always do that makes you feel best will give you whatever you want. . Follow your inner guidance with whatever you are doing and the floating river of your life will take you to everything that you have ever wanted. It’s already there in your Vortex.
Keep the good stuff coming Eric!

and Abraham Hicks breaks it down perfectly

You hit it right on Jon when you mentioned
living in the present moment.. it’s where ALL
the creation power is:)
Eric,
I’m going to put this book on my wish list as well. Great video. Relationships, vortex, living in abundance… What a rush!
I like the way you added so much. I know you are not just talking the talk, but walking the walk as well.

2010 here we come:)
Great video man. I like your logic about focusing on the now and not getting hung up on what you want to the point of desperation. It seems like people do spend way too much time worrying about the future, sweating the small stuff.
I also like this ‘Vortex’ idea. What a great way to keep our attitude in the right place.
Stefan,
Thanks for the comment! Whichever

Speak soon Stefan!
Thanks Eric, I look forward to networking & learning with you.Stay creative, your friend from Bristol Indiana.

Looking forward to connecting…
Thanks Eric for reminding us about the power of now. You have such a great understanding of the law of attraction and have been an amazing role model to many of us.
I love what you say about sending out our requests to the universe only once, then bringing ourselves into alignment with our desires. I for one pray daily for many of the same blessings, such as the health and happiness of my family. I always approach these requests from a place of gratitude, for example thanking God for our health and asking that we continue to be blessed.
Looking at this all from the perspective you’ve discussed here, I think I’ll start to exclude my requests in my prayers, and focus on gratitude. It’s a simple shift, but will put me into a much better place of alignment and knowing that all will remain well.

Eric,
Will add The Vortex to my Christmas wish list! It always amazes me that the simple concepts are the ones that are so easy to forget. Thanks for bringing it home in your video today. It was powerful, sincere and right on point!

My pleasure on sharing this information.
I’ve IMMERSED myself in this stuff over the

Rock out for 2010!
Cool Video and great points you discuss in there. It’s powerful. You nail it man!
Thanks Glenn! Happy you got some
value from it. When people realize that
they are in control of what happens,
everything changes!
Keep up the awesomeness bro!
Great video, thanks
I definitely have felt the direct experience of the vortex lately and it’s so POWERFUL!
) I was so excited to get it now several years later. I have been savouring early morning moments sitting in front of the window reading the incredibly powerful words about awakening which is what I’ve been doing in each moment. How glorious!
I love most what you say about BEing in the present moment. I received the book over the holidays “The Power of Now, by Ekheart Tolle” and having read it twice ( it needed rereading
You continue to inspire me and I so appreciate your lavish praise.
I started getting interested in people, creating success through being authentic in 1985 when I attended my first Dale carnegie class. His book, How to Win Friends and Influence People is a great read, and may connect with the social part of you that answers each individual comment with thoughtful attention.
Cheryl
Cheryl,
The Power of Now is such a great
book. All of our personal power is
within the present moment.
When we come to realize that, we
become powerful beings and can create
things that will BLOW YOUR MIND!
Hey Eric!
Wow! Great post, great thoughts, great video.
I love the vortex. It\’s easy when things seem to be going in the opposite direction of what we want, to slip out of that place of knowing and appreciating where we are.
I find when this happens, that if I STOP and center my thoughts on the desired outcome and seek solutions to the problem rather than focusing on the problem, then I am able to return to appreciation much faster. Amazingly, the solutions soon follow.
Thanks for adding value to us Eric. You Rock!
Krista
Krista,
Thanks for your share. Most of us can
get caught focusing on the problem and
we can’t see the solution…
Just like you said, step back and focus on
a solution and now you’ve moved into a new
vibration where you have access to the solution.
Keep up the amazingness out there!
Eric,
You are doing a very great service to the world. Man, you are spreading the Teachings of Abraham! I can tell you are in The Vortex during this video. I am happy to have found you on the internet. I am interested in getting to know you better.
Hey Nathaniel,
Thanks for the good words bro! Living
in the Vortex is a beautiful thing. It’s my
mission to EMPOWER as many people as
I can to do the same.
Looking forward to connecting…
Thank you for sharing Eric!
)) Words like business, or marketing, or selling, immediately speed me out. That’s because they are associated to effort. And the Vortex is a place of chillaxin’, as you call it.
I’m always in the Vortex.
The specific area of building my business online that “seems” to knock me out of this place is… the word “business”.
I want to enjoy every single second of my life, and I innately know that my only Real work is to Ask and Believe. So when I find myself out, I immediately come back to my appreciation or to my Wouldn’it be nice if Game, or My meditation.
Then I’m in the Vortex again!
Breathe, Smile, Enjoy Life!!!!
Francesco
Good stuff Francesco. The words business,
marketing, etc… are everywhere and very present
in our society.
So i’d say find a way to feel better about the
words… since they aren’t going anywhere:)
Thanks for sharing!
Oh yeah, falubuos stuff there you!
I know it might seem trite to say I think I am mostly in my Vortex, but I really am. I love my life! and now that I have started my own business I love it even more, by working for myself the things that used to impact negatively in other areas of my life have been alleviated. For me, it is about owning my own power. This is where I am learning and growing – I make myself busy doing the things that aren’t really important, I reduce myself. I say I get “stuck in my quagmire” because sometimes I literally am stuck and don’t know how to get back to what is important; BUT only for a little bit – it doesn’t last and I know these are the times I am learning and growing, so I can’t even say I am away from my Vortex then, but I think I am improving it!! The best way I have found of moving forward is, as you say, being “present-centred”, so I’m proud of myself for finding ways to get myself moving – but still learning!
That is good to be mostly in the Vortex!
When we are present, we are in the Vortex.
We all will have times when we are knocked
out of it… but the key is to get back in:)
Thank you Stephanie!
Nice job, Eric. You have a solid grasp on the Abraham teachings that’s for sure. Being a fan too, it’s fun and helpful to communicate with folks who speak a similar language. And you are giving your readers great content and insights. Are you familiar with the Go-Giver? I think you’d appreciate that book.

Hey there guys. Just thought I leave a brief comment about this video. I wanted to say that Eric is so right. As I was sitting here thinking about what he was saying and how it related to my life and the things going on I realized I actually do seem to pull myself from the vortex from time to time and I don’t even realize it most of the time.
With that said I will say I definitely need to work on not pulling my self out of the moment and show a little more appreciation for where I am now as opposed to begging for the future. Thank you once again Eric for your words of wisdom!
