I wanted to shoot this video today to share with you someone who has touched my life and truly made a huge difference. It was my grandmother… who just passed away a few days ago. Sometimes you don’t realize the difference people are making until they are no longer in your life.

So this morning my slippery little Ego tried keeping me in bed with stupid reasons like ‘You were up late, you should rest more’. Now did that sound like a good idea at 5:25AM? You bet!

So after I told my Ego to go and take a hike, I was off to meditate and then to the gym. I was listening to a great audio of Wayne Dyer’s book Inspiration: Your Ultimate Calling in the car on the way home from the gym… and the segment I was listening to was all about the Ego.

Manifesting What You Want is much EASIER then you think!

Law of Attraction has been the talk of the town the past few years… to the point where it almost feels watered down. Wouldn’t you agree? The movie ‘The Secret’ came out and everyone was running around saying that you can get anything you want if you just think about it.

That is true, but what happened was people would say they wanted something like a Million Dollars, wait a few days… and then when it didn’t show up they said ‘this stuff doesn’t work’. I laugh when I hear people say that. They only say that because they don’t understand it.

Does it really work?

It’s like saying ‘this electricity thing doesn’t work’ because I have no clue how the lights go on when I flip the switch… but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t work! Just because I don’t understand it doesn’t mean it’s going to stop electricity from working.

Law of Attraction does not stop working because one doesn’t understand it either. People, places, things, circumstances and events are showing up in your life, right? It might not be all of the stuff you really want, but it’s still working. You just need a better understanding of how to turn on the light switch to get the result you want.

Manifesting what you want comes down to thinking a thought about something and BELIEVING that it will show up. If I had to sum up the Law of Attraction in one word… it would be Expectation.

Here is where the challenge is…

People realize that the thing they want is missing or non existent from their life. So instead of expecting that it will show up, they are so focused on it not being there… and those thoughts are what hold their desire from showing up in their experience.

Following me on this? It’s something that we’ve been doing for so long so it’s hard to wrap your thoughts around it. So what you need to do is coax those resistant thoughts about what you want into a better feeling place… a place of more expectation, or believability (is that a word??:)

I’ve come across a nifty process that will help you do this. DO NOT disregard this process because of it’s simplicity. The process is called ‘The Focus Wheel’. It was designed by Jerry & Ester Hicks in the book Ask and It Is Given: Learning to Manifest Your Desires.

So what did you think? Do you see how this process can help ease the resistant around those negative thoughts. It’s only the resistance that is holding what you desire out of your experience. If it wasn’t for those resistant thoughts… you’d be manifesting what you want right now!

Today is one of the BEST days of the year! Reason being more people are in a state of appreciation than any other day. Appreciation is one of the highest levels of vibration that we can reach as human beings… it’s just funny that most people only live there 1 day out of the year.

When you start to APPRECIATE the good in life, that becomes your ‘point of attraction’… and the Universe matches that vibration through the Law of Attraction.

The different levels of appreciation…

What I’ve come to realize is there are several levels of appreciation. One of the very first levels is just being aware of the things in life that you can be grateful for. No matter where you are in any moment of life, there is ALWAYS something to appreciate… always!

Once you go here for a bit, then you can start to dig a little deeper. For instance, let’s say you’re lying in bed in the morning and you think to yourself that you appreciate the bed you are lying in. That’s level 1…

When you start to think about all the people that it took to get the bed to the very spot where it is right now… you’re level of appreciating gets kicked up a notch, welcome to level 2! You start to feel appreciation for the trees that the wood came from, the people who designed the bed, the laborers who assembled the bed, the salesman at the store, the delivery guys… do you see where I’m going with this?

This is a Rampage of Appreciation…

Abraham Hicks calls this a ‘rampage of appreciation’. If you hang here for 5 or so minutes you will feel a SHIFT in the way you feel, and what you just have done is change your point of attraction. Walaaaa!

So… instead of just being appreciative 1 day of the year, make this a daily ritual. It’s my promise to you that if you do this, you will see tremendous changes in the things that manifest in your life. I’ve been doing a rampage of appreciation every morning now for months and months, and I can see physical evidence of how the Universe has responded to me.

I have an accountability partner who I speak to every morning, and part of our call is sharing what we are grateful for.

So are you up for the challenge and ready to kick it up a notch?

Yes, You Read That Right… I’m Running A Marathon!

26.2 Miles Baby!!! So you may be thinking… ‘What has inspired me to do this?’ This race symbolizes so many things to me right now, and I want to share it with you. I’m all about being transparent… so I want to share other parts of my life with you.

So Why Am I Doing This Crazzzzy Race??

For one… I’m a GIVER! I’m running this race to raise money for the ‘Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’. This is a charity that I’ve been supporting for about 5 years. I’ve done a handful of triathlons to help the society… but it’s been a few years since I’ve done anything with them.

Also, I’ve made a commitment to myself to get back into “endurance race shape”. I’ve allowed myself to get caught up in being an entrepreneur and haven’t been training the way I used to. Now don’t get me wrong… I’m very appreciative for what is going on with my business… but i’m all about living a balanced life.

I’m always stepping up my game and playing BIG in life. It’s all about setting new standards for yourself! I know by sharing this with all of you out there… you will keep me accountable to completing the race.

So When Is The Race?

The race is on May 2nd of this coming year in Vancouver Canada. I signed my papers yesterday so I’m officially in. Let me share with you how AMAZING the Universe is. Yesterday I sign up for my first marathon, and Stu Mittleman is speaking in New York City.

Stu Mittleman ran across the USA… from California to New York! I think the man knows a little bit about what it takes to complete a marathon. I had the pleasure of listening to his talk. The man is brilliant! I also have the honor of running with Stu in Central Park this Saturday.

Do You Support Me In My Journey?

I will be sharing my journey to the marathon with you. This is going to be a HUGE growth step for me. There are so many life lessons that are going to come out of this.

There are going to be those times when it’s 5AM, it’s time to run 15 miles… and I don’t feel like doing it! I’ll be sharing all of that will you… so stay tuned. I also will be asking for you to help me raise money to support the foundation. My fund raising goal is $4300. Help me ROCK that for the foundation!

One Of My Patient Hero’s… Gotta Love Her!

I’ve been truly inspired by some of the ‘patient hero’s’ that I’ve met during my time supporting the Leukemia & Lymphoma foundation. One that has truly touched my heart is little Francesca Mollo. This girl is a trooper! Check her out with her cute little braids

She has been through something crazzzzy like 900 straight days of chemo therapy! She is one of the main reasons why I’m drawn back to the society. So please help me in helping to change the lives of people like Francesca by making a donation.

Also… if your life has been effected by Leukemia or Lymphoma, I want you to share your story with me. It could have been your own life, a friends life or a family member… whatever it is, share it with me. I’m want to run this race in their name.

So for everyone that sends me in a video, a picture or a story about someone’s life that has been touched by this… I’m going to wear that person’s name on my jersey during the race and cross the finish line in their honor:)

What Is Your Definition Of Success?

The only definition of success that matters, is your own! Everyone is running around trying to be ‘successful’ according to other peoples terms. This is a game you cannot win!

Watch this video of Coach John Wooden as he redefines success and urges us all to pursue the best in ourselves. This is the advice he would give his players at UCLA, where he led his team to 10 NCAA National Championships in 12 years, an unmatched record by any other college basketball coach.

So what is your definition of success?

It’s very POWERFUL to write it down so you’re clear what it is. Clarity is POWER! So I invite you to leave your definition of success as a comment at the bottom of this page.
