Why is it that most people have caught amnesia when networking online??
It seems that they have forgotten the skill of creating rapport… and even saying something as simple as ‘hello’. What do I mean by this? How many times have you received a friend request from someone on Facebook with no message at all? You have no clue where you know them from, where they saw you or what they want from you.
Now lets be honest here… how many times have YOU sent someone a friend request without adding a personal message or saying hello? Ask yourself this, when you meet a new person face to face… don’t you introduce yourself and say hello?
The same strategies apply when networking online. Watch this quick video training that I created to show you a few examples of how to do this effectively. This will definitely change the responses you are getting from the people you are connecting with online.

You make a good point. I get so busy that I forget to say hello and have to go back to the beginning of the email to put it in.
