Great video man. So truth. You always get what you focus on. At the same time it`s the society that has created that feeling of lack among people. I believe each person has to figure out their purpose of life and their values first. At that moment they are on the path of getting what they want.

Hesam,

You are correct saying ‘society’ created the
feeling of lack amongst a lot of people… but
the cool thing is we all have the power to focus
and create our own lives.

Thanks for sharing Hesam!

I could not agree more. Like you I had the same deep feelings about Avatar and ironically like you I had the same issues trying to get to see the movie… I think that you are spot on and that some people are simply not of the right mindset and clearly not built of the type of stuff that allows them to see the good in things rather than focusing on the highly negative. I came out of the movie with great hopes that 1) – the film would and has changed everything and that Cinema would never be the same again, and 2) that as a race of people we really don\’t act like we are from the same species most of the time; I wonder how things will develop over the next 10 years and whether the conciousness shared in movies like this one, matrix and films that ask us to explore who we are, may finally sink in and change things for the better. Good for you for calling it out.

Marcus,

Expansion is a must, it’s law. It’s always
good to see major shifts in the way things
are done… just like here with the 3D technology.

Thanks for poppin’ in today!

Great perspective on how we need to be “hearing” our emotions to get to where we want. In the same way, we need to be listening to our bodies in order to maximize our physical health. Great to read and be informed and get blood tests and MRI’s… but so many people are not “hearing” what their bodies are telling them all the time… about what kinds of foods might be undermining their health, about how they may be overdoing it with the marathon training, etc. Look and learn about your health, but your physician is your own body. Listen to it. Thanks for the Avatar perspective brother! Makes us think about lots of stuff.

David,

Yea man… you got it! Our bodies are
‘talking’ to us all day long. Most people
have trained themselves to stop listening
long ago, but the body never stops ‘talking’.

Avatar it up brotha man!

Eric,
I’m so glad you’re sharing on
this concept and idea!

I completely agree that people
are their own worst enemies!
And I find it fascinating how
one person can chose to feel
one way and another person
feel completely different…

LOL I just wrote about this on
my blog as well. We are on the
same wavelength right now I
think!

Hey kary!

Life is all about what happens between
our ears. It’s learning to be on your own
team, instead of working against yourself.

We def are on the same wavelength, great
things are happening because of it:)

Eric,

So insightful bro! I really liked this post! It is amazing how some people pull such negativity from something that so many people found beautiful. It goes to show you how the brain can function so differently. How one man\\\’s trash is another mans treasure. Totally awesome man!

Your dude,
Joey

Joey C,

You’re right on bro! It’s all what we focus
on. There is always something good to appreciate
in each and every moment and each experience.

Keep choosing the appreciating thoughts…

I couldnt AGREE more with you!! – Yesterday I had the AWESOME opportunity of watching “Invictus” – the movie about Mandela and the Rugby team – And more or less got the same kind of reflection by the time I was going home… Im not spoiling anything about it, but there´s a couple of moments that focus on INSPIRATION and how the lack of it can destroy any misguided opportunity or something that is more focused on the lacking or negative side… the world is DESPERATE for INSPIRATED people and those who are not, are starting to get those “Avatar Blues” at the slightest opportunity… we can change MANY lives by helping people get that inspiration for life back!!

THANKS!!! :)

Erik,

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. When we
focus on the lack of something, it expands.

Whatever we focus on expands. We live in an
attraction based Universe… so there is no saying
‘no’ to anything.

Saying ‘no’ or saying ‘yes’ to something is bringing
it into your experience… so we much choose to focus
on what we want, no the lack.

Thanks for spending your time in the community today!

Avatar is an amazing movie. I went to see few weeks ago when I was in Poland, and I will go see it again. Beautiful 3D pictures and fantastic story showing 2 extremely different attitudes of what is really important in life.

It is also true that most of the people don’t control their lives because they don’t control their habits which comes from thinking mostly negative.

Hey Miko,

Right on brotha man… it’s all about deliberately
choosing your thoughts in the direction where you
want to go.

Thanks for the share buddy!

I can barely wait to see the movie! I resonate with what you say about be ing appreciative of all we have. I certainly am!. I am working on becoming the list of the person I want in my life and loving myself completely. Living with a mental illness has its challenges as well as many stregths which I am learning to harness!

Cheryl,

You will love the movie… it was awesome!
You are doing absolutely AMAZING through
your journey.

Just keep focused on what you want, WHY
you want it… and expect it to show up! Allow
that little kid inside of you to come out.

Play on girl!

Love this post and LOVE your candor about it. “Stinkin’ Thinkin’” has led so many people away from their destiny and down a path of destructive behavior and thought patterns. When people are able to focus on what they want instead of what they don’t have, then change can be realized. Thanks for sharing this, keep it coming. :-)

Hi Eric!
I’m so glad I’m not the only one that saw Avatar so late in the game. Found myself laughing when I came across your post only one day after I posted about the same movie. And I agree with your thoughts – I found so much beauty and inspiration in the story. Maybe those depressed people didn’t realize how much our world can be like that if we tap into the positive energy around us instead of the negative. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

Teresa,

It’s my feeling that’s why people got
depressed as well. They don’t realize
that they can have that kind of experience
in their life.

Maybe we should tell them the secret.. that
they can! Thanks for sharing in the community:)

Keepin it real! Thanks for the great reminder to continually be aware of our thoughts and remember how powerful we are. I just saw Avatar last week w/my Dad (his second time) and thought it was beautifully done!

Eric,
While I haven’t seen the movie yet, it’s AMAZING that such completely different perspectives can be taken from one movie. Is the glass half empty or half full? That’s what it all boils down to.

You made me want to see the movie. I love your energy and great attitude!

can always change our perspective.

Such a great film. The difference between Jake and the other characters was that he just went for it. He took risks and he got rewarded.

Nice post.
