Are You Doing What Needs To Be Done To Become A Leader?
People are running around today, getting into business and wondering why they aren’t succeeding. It’s pretty simple… people want to join LEADERS!
I strongly believe that people don’t join businesses, they join people. The ones that position themselves as a leader in their industry, are the people who you see rising to the TOP of their companies.
Do you want to know how to do this? Watch this quick video that I created for you explaining the process:
After watching that, get out there and start on the journey to becoming a leader. It all starts with the decision. There is so much POWER in deciding… and the great thing about that is you’re the one who get to do it.
I have to warn you… to be a leader you have to be willing to STEP UP and play BIG in life. Are you ready for that? You are as soon as YOU say you are:)
Please share this with others as it’s important for all of us to take a stand as a leader and really make a difference in this world. Don’t you think so? Click the green ‘retweet’ button on this page and send it out to all of your Twitter followers, they will thank you:)

Eric,
You said it right. People don’t join companies people join leaders.

Hey Donna,
I will be adding some course and seminars
to my Recommended Resources
page. I’ve already added some of the book
I’ve read and recommend:)
Great post Eric. I love the part about you being a leader when you decide you are.
Think And Grow Rich is a fantastic book. Great recommendation!
Right on, Eric. So many people fall for the network marketing hype of easy money that they think they can just talk to their friends, get them to join, and sit back while their business grows. But it just doesn’t work like that.
Not everyone is a natural leader in network marketing. I know I wasn’t when I started. The people you sign up into your business need a leader to show then how to grow their downlines. That has to be you.

You said it perfectly Jason… keep rockin!
I’m really interested with this personal development thing and I like what I\’m hearing here in your blog.
Indeed, the first thing to do to become a leader is to invest with your self. I think the real asset that we have is our SELVES- our own intelligence, perception, skills and experiences. These are intangible abstract things that can create tangible outcomes.
For you to be able to share knowledge, you should acquire it first. People look up to those individuals who can answer their questions, create solutions and initiate changes and innovations.
Thanks for the great posts!

Alex,
Thanks for the comment! You’re right
about having to do the ‘work’ on yourself
before you can lead anyone else.
If we are not ‘full’ then we have nothing to
give… and if we have nothing to give, then
we can’t lead.
Rock out bro:)
Eric…you are completely right my friend. When I first started this thing I thought I would find the “right” company and that people would start flocking in…boy was I wrong. Once I invested in myself, everything changed.
You’re one great leader and I’m thankful you share what you’re learning.

Aaron,
Thanks for your good words my friend!
Your right on about investing in yourself.
Once you do that and ‘fill yourself up’,
everything in your life changes.
I absolutely agree about the self development that occurs in the car if you are willing to listen to the correct materials. I was listening to \"The Slight Edge\" on the way to my hair appointment today.
My free satellite service is up and they want me to subscribe now .. and the answer is absolutely no, thank you. I gotta do my learning time in the car … so I can be the best leader I can be!
Hey Cathy,
I have turned my car into a University
on Wheels the past 10yrs. What a great
time and place to get personal development
in.
Thanks for the share!
My favorite part: when we are being brain-washed we are washing out the crap that is not helping us in our lives (an which someone else put there).
I could go through this video one point at a time and applaud. It is obvious that you have walked the talk. Leadership becomes a part of you, it can’t be faked.
Leaders are Readers. That’s another good one.
I read somewhere: 10 years now your life will be shaped by the people you meet and the books to read.
Awesome Video.
Mark,
Thanks for the share… you are correct
about the next 10yrs of our lives being
shaped by the people we meet and what
we read.
Keep feeding your brain with good content:)
Hey Eric!
Great ideas here… I completely agree that we need to be leaders to be successful in online marketing. Developing ourselves is the ultimate first step to success!
Thanks for the great information!
Keep Rocking!

Amanda,
Your right on about personal development
being the first step to being a leader.
People always follow behind people that
have ‘grown’ themselves…
You are a TRUE leader:)
Eric,
Many great points were made here, both in your video and in the community you created and support. That is a mark of a leader. one who gives first and expects nothing in return. You know you will be blessed but you don’t help others with a hand out for yourself.
A servant leader also has many other qualities. they look out for others. They support others. They encourage others. They believe in others. They respect others.
Thank you for leading by example.

Ken,
Mucho APPRECIATION for your words
my friend! Being a leader really is about
helping others get what they want, and
in return you get what you want….
Great words by Zig Ziglar:)
Eric, no doubt about it bro. It goes hand in hand with branding too. You have to remember, people only buy from people they know, like and trust, and that’s powerful, anyone can become a leader you just have to start leading by example, value and position yourself as a expert in your niche, not everyone knows what you know, so get out there and take action

Right on Terrance!
Know, Like & Trust… and spamming
doesn’t achieve any of those!
Keep leading my friend:)
Success is not something you pursue, success is something that you attract by the person you become- Jim Rohn.
Before you have, you need to become-Jim Rohn.
Great, great video Eric. So many people follow you and the best is yet to come.
Thank you for the beautiful words Miko!
Eric,
This is a wonderful post my friend and I give you sincere kudos for verbalizing what it truly takes to be a leader in not only Network Marketing but in life as well.
There are so many folks out there claiming the title “Guru, Teacher, Mentor” yet in reality these are some of the same individuals who could profit most from this post.
In my personal life the “Attraction” in Attraction Marketing didn’t begin to happen until I first let go of any pretense of being the person in charge and took up a daily regimen of self development powered by such mentors as Jim Rohn, Brian Tracy, Bill Harris, Les Brown, and Anthony Robbins.
What these leaders have been able to teach I have taken and really instilled it in myself on an inner core basis through study, implementation, review, and correction of their principles.
The insights that are to be gained by a daily diet of self development and skill enhancement truly are second to none. When the ancient mystics spoke about someone having a spiritual third eye I truly believe that this is something that was developed through the daily discipline to self development.
When you develop yourself you don’t have to try to be the leader because others see the value that emanates from you and are naturally drawn to this vibration.
Having daily disciplines has been the key in my experience to massive personal growth. By disciplining yourself to read the books, listen to the audio, and watch the videos you will ensure yourself a life full of friendship, success, and love.
To Our Massive Success,
John

Right on John!
The daily discipline is KEY… this is the thing
that most people are leaving out. I’ve been
saying it for a while now… it’s all about the
‘Law of Consistency’.
Keep leading my friend:)
I doing the reading

something clear thanks
