Hi Eric

Why do a lot of things have to always come back to money?
Essentially, I am with you up to the point where people need to know that the ego has it's own agenda.

I dare say that a strong monetary association with your passion installs a channel through which the forces of corruption can easily knock at your door, and if you're not careful, they can set up shop, stronger than when they came through the ego.

I am not saying it is impossible for people to ignore the offerings of these forces. However, when you reach a certain level of maturity and have spent a long time living outside of the ego, you will see the folly in using your supposed freeness from the ego to prioritize monetary valuation of what you claim to be your passion.
A lot of people are doing this, even those who claim to be operating from the spirit. There are two spirits, afterall, and one of them in particular, has learnt some tricks of the other. You have to know where you're rooted. Riches are man-made accolades. We should be weary of concluding in which spirit we're rooted by using man-made accolades as the measuring tool.

The truest spirit operates without expecting a reward. Always have and always will. Just cos we have created a world that values monetary rewards as high as it currently does, doesn't mean the truest spirit is now, all of a sudden, going to simply judge us based on our collection of man-made accolades :)

I hope you continue to share and be open to others sharing with you. Hopefully, you're not just sharing your thoughts for "Yes-Men"... If you are, have fun. I'll excuse myself via the "Back" button on my browser :)

Peace

ps. Am I a few months late for this thread?!? :)

Eric,
I like how you talk about the Ego. I too have read with Wayne Dyer and the last book I read was Excuses be Gone. You are always so calm when doing a video. I also want to thank you for tweeting me recently.
Have a great day.
Karen

Thanks Buddy!

Nah, no skimping on sleep... I feel
my body only needs about 4-6hrs per
night... and the meditation in the morning
sets my point of attraction for my day.

Looking forward to connecting more with
you in the Unified Tribe. Lots of great things
planned inside the community there!

Hey! I found your blog from The Unified Tribe - it is one of the best decisions I have made in my entire lifetime!

I really enjoyed the video. You are skimping on some quality sleep, but I love the fact that you meditate in the morning. I have been meditating randomly over the past month or so - usually in the afternoon. I have not tried meditating in the morning for a very lon time but should give it a go again!

I am looking forward to watching more videos and reading more posts! I shall see you inside The Unified Tribe!

Hey AP,

It's a funny thing, because when we
are in EGO... we don't know it. But when
we become aware is when we are able to
shift back into living an inspired life.

Thanks buddy!

Mary,

Great way to put it... love you perspective!

Even though it's invisible... so to speak, it
has such great power. It's the invisible that
has more power then the visible.

The invisible creates the visible... thanks
for your good words here on my blog:)

Hey Kitara,

Thanks for sharing here in the community!

The EGO is a slippery little fella, but once
we learn to play with it... then we can quickly
get back to being in-spirit.

You said it... when we are inspired, we are
in a place of love, and the EGO cannot exists:)

So cool that you have the same little figurine!
