Are You Inspired? If Not, It Might Be Right Under Your Nose…

by Eric Goldstein

Howdy… Today I was inspired to pass on a message to you, so listen close:)

You hear so many people talking about inspiration… but what does it really mean to be inspired??

Inspiration is very different from motivation. Zig Ziglar said it best… “Motivation is like a shower, you must do it every day”. Motivation is something you do to yourself to get yourself to do something you don’t want to do.

Inspiration is a totally different. The word ‘inspiration’ comes from the Latin… meaning ‘in-spirit’, or translated to ‘the immediate influence of God or a God’. When you are inspired my friend, there is not need to force yourself to do anything.Inspire Create Something Beautiful 150x150 Are You Inspired? If Not, It Might Be Right Under Your Nose...

You will be so drawn to do something, that a pack of wild horses wouldn’t be able to hold you back! This is when spirit, source, god, higher power or whatever you want to call ‘it’… moves through you!

This feeling is described by most who have experienced it, as one of the most AMAZING feelings known to mankind. It truly is… when you are living ‘in spirit’ you are living in flow.

So… one of the main reasons for my post today is I want to help you become aware when Spirit is trying to move through you. Most of the time we pass right by the signs and don’t even realize it… so pay attention, this is where it gets JUICY icon smile Are You Inspired? If Not, It Might Be Right Under Your Nose...

I have a question for you… Do you find yourself waking up regularly in the middle of the night between the times of 3AM and 4AM? If you do… pay close attention to the time you are waking at. It’s most likely at the same time each day.

For me… it’s 3:04AM. I roll over, look at the clock… and the big red numbers are blaring 3:04AM. This has been happening on a regular basis. So I kept asking the universe what this meant…

And what do you know… the universe answered (as always when we are open to receiving the answer). I was driving today and I was listening to one of Dr. Wayne Dyer’s live seminars. I’m just cruising along listening to good words of Dr. Dyer… and he asks the question to the audiences “DO you find yourself waking up in the middle of the night between the times of 3AM and 4AM?”.

Man was I blown away… the universe is super slick when answering us, so keep those eyes and ears open! He continues to talk about how this is the universe trying to wake you. The way you can tell is it’s happening at the same exact time each and every time.

It’s not a coincidence my friend… i don’t believe in those anyway. You are most connected to your Source, God, Higher Power, etc. during the times of 3AM and 5AM. Most of us are woken up, stumble our way to the bathroom… do our deeds and then fall back into bed, not thinking anything of it for a moment.sleepwalking snoopy 150x150 Are You Inspired? If Not, It Might Be Right Under Your Nose...

Dr. Dyer said that his most recent book was mostly written between the hours of 3AM and 5AM. It’s felt as if the words were coming through him, from something much bigger than himself.

So I have a challenge for you… Commit to yourself that if this is happening to you that you will get your butt out of bed. Do WIT! (Whatever It Takes)… A good thing to do is take a walk into the backyard and sit in the fresh air and breath. This usually will help you get yourself into a wake state.

Once you are up just be with the moment… and see if you are In-Spired to do anything. I’m excited to hear your feedback and results so please add your comments to this post.

Sweet article my man.
I have been getting up at 4:00am
since the beginning of 2009 and
meeting with my accountability
coach. By 6:00am I feel I have
accomplished more then most
people will do in a day!

Thanks for sharing.

Cheers
Steve

I have been waking up at 5:04 am for the last 6 months and I thought I was just going a little nuts. But since I am not alone I believe I will get up and accomplish something instead of just trying to go back to sleep.

Hey Eric,
Thanks for the article. I’ ve been getting up between 3&5 for some time now. Funny, I just thought it was my prostate.lol
All joking aside, sometimes it takes a reminder to pay attention to the law of attraction at all times not just when your looking for the connection.
Thanks Again,
Daryl

Eric, very true. I find my self waking at 4:30 am and sometimes have gotten up or not. I found when I got up I was so far ahead of my day that I actually got more accomplished by 9 am than most people get done all day. . thanks for the tip. Peace Don Jones

I wake up at 3:45 a.m. every morning, do my deeds and go back to bed. Never thought about it before. I will pay more attention now. Thanks, Eric.

Donna,

It definitely is a time when we
are most connected. You’re going
to want to go back to bed at first,
it’s an old pattern… but break it
and you’ll be AMAZED at the stuff
that comes to you during that time:)

This is really an interesting stuff. I can relate with the wake up thing during 3-4am. Although I’m not sure with the exact time, I also experience it. Well, I thought it’s just a distraction of my biological clock or what. Never knew about this in-spirit thing but it’s something I’m excited to try.

It’s amazing how questions are answered unexpectedly. Signs and answers mysteriously pop out of nowhere and people should always be aware and alert of them. I don’t have enough knowledge on this but I do agree with this article.

Alex,

The more we are open to the answers,
the more they come to us… and they
show up in AMAZING unexplainable ways
sometimes.

Thanks for stopping by my blog:)

Wow… I woke up again last night, thinking: why do I always wake up once a night? I haven\’t looked at the time, but I sure will look at my clock tonight. What\’s weird is I do feel almost like something is waiting with a message for me.. but then I just go back to sleep. I won\’t be doing that tonight.
This is exactly what I needed, Eric.. thank you! =)

My pleasure Shirley!

As Rumi says…

you… Do not go back to sleep.”
