Being a good receiver means just that.
There is no need to 'give' back in that
moment... or to that person.

Part of being a good receiver is accepting
the words, gift... or whatever, and allowing
that person to have the gift of giving by you
just receiving.

Thanks for the comment!

Well Eric, I suppose being a good receiver is great if you could only return the gesture that is honest and from the heart. Sometimes it becomes too much especially when you cannot return the compliments that are similar to the others feelings as they would expect. It becomes tiresome and uncomfortable if, in especially relationships, if someone tells you that they love you and you cannot return the compliment the same way, believe me, it's draining, physically, mentally and spiritually.

Hey Lottie,

It's my feeling that saying 'thank you'
is being in appreciation... which in a sense
you are giving words to them.

But I feel the appreciation is more for
you... since you are the one feeling that
great vibration.

Just my thoughts:)

Hi Eric,
Your post on receiving well taken. . . a nice one to reflect upon.

Then, one might say, "but when you receive/ackknowledge with a 'thank you', is that not giving?

Jon,

You are right about it being easier said
then done. With some practice and consistency
someone can open up and start to receive pretty
quickly.

Thanks for stoppin' by:)

Really Great and to the point True blog post Eric!

Thanks for sharing!

This concept of recievning is also what the Law of Attraction is all about. If you are not ready to recieve the things you have been asking for you will not let them in.

Easier said than done but its still crucial to get what you want in life.

Keep up the good work and keep on sharing!
