Hi Eric,
This video was very helpful to me. I knew a little about Google Alerts and have an account for getting them on a handful of subjects, but because you offered some specific tips about different spellings of my name, I am going to update my account so I am even more informed!
Thanks for your teaching. Very helpful video!

Hey Mary Lou,

I’m happy that you found value in
this post. It’s always important to
have your finger on the pulse.

The few different spellings, especially
with the birth of Twitter, are important
to be keeping an eye on as well.

Smiles :)

Janice… yea, Google Alerts are a great
way to keep a pulse on what is going on
with your name/site on the internet.

Def set them up, and you’ll be notified by
email as frequently as you want.

Once again, good job Eric of getting the word out the on how to maximize these great tools that are available. I just wanted to share that Google Alerts is great for any small business owner who wants to stay abreast of, follow & keep up with industry trends & companies. Timing is key when you’re interested in doing business with larger companies & this little tool, when used properly, can help you stay in the know when you’re on the “BIG GAME” hunt.
Thanks again man.

You got that right Tammy… it’s all
about getting in there and joining
the conversation when people are
talking about you.

Great share, thank you!
